Thread: Newbie SR shaver from Maryland

Hello Everyone. I started using a Straight Razor in August of 2012. It is a junk razor that was part of starter set for $60 on Amazon.com. I've managed to get a shave as close as my old Electric Razor with it so far. Most of that is from some great advice that I've gotten from the members of this forum and through their videos. And I just get my Norton 220/1K, 4K/8K, and lapping stone in the mail today. So with that I'm hoping to get a shave like my old disposables and eventually closer.

I'm a bit of a train-wreck so far using the hones, so I'll be posting so cries for help soon enough.
