Thread: Hello, Complete Newbie from NC Here

Ahh, you know what, I just now found the "sight unseen" razors on whippeddog - I had only found the "sight half seen" ones before, but wow, $25 shipped is a heck of a deal.

Anyway, thanks to all for the continued input. To clarify my previous post, I was just considering offering to buy one of the razors from the seller, which I was thinking I could then send off to be honed. However, it does seem like it would be simpler go with whippeddog now that I know about the "sight unseen" deal, if/when I go the SR route.

On that note, does anyone have any advice on whether a SR or DE is generally a better first wet shaving purchase? I hadn't really thought about that before trimmy brought it up, but I'm a little conflicted now.
