Default the new one and a mystery razor

    hello everyone!

I hope you had an excellent shave this morning.

I have a question what is the history of this razor? Internet has reveled nothing, so I was wondering if any of you had seen it before.

I found this baumann razor at an antique store and fell in love, you know the feeling! It has several markings on the shank and none on the blade.

    thank you and good day.

I did some looking around and wasn't able to come up with anything definitive. However given how man baumann appear to live in Cincinnati I would guess one of there ancestors owned a hardware store way back when and had the razor made for him to sell in his store. Most likely it is ether English or German made.
