Thread: Another hello from the UK

Hello,

I'm Matt. I'm a 20 year-old Biology student in the UK that has wanted to get into straight razor shaving since I was about 18, because let's face it, they're cool as hell and really quite beautiful tools.

I'm yet to buy my first razor as I've been promised one for my 21st birthday so I'm now torn between buying my own or waiting for that more sentimental start to my collection. BUT! I do love reading the forums and looking at restorations so I thought I'd register to ask some questions when they arise

depends on how long you have to wait until you turn 21 if it is more than 3 months go for. you could start now with more affordable items and then ask for upgrades for your birthday.

My birthday was last tuesday so I'm thinking that way too right now lol.
