Hey guys got my first striaght razor for christmas this year after a few years of pestering my fiancé and just performed my first 3 pass shave looking for any tips or advice so far most of what i know i have learned on you tube

It's a hollow grind straight razor from the art of shaving it was shave ready but I do strop my blade before every shave now and ya I'm doing 3 pass now the shave is really good but I got a few nicks the last time

You say that your shave is good which i'm glad to hear as normally fresh from the factory or aos razors are not truly shave ready. you should be stropping your razor before each use.
