Welcome aboard. Don't be shy about posting questions. I think you've found the mother lode of excellent help. If I could learn, anyone can. There's a few strops that didn't survive my learning curve - but that's another story.

Jump in! +1 on the wiki, and search the forum and take time to read the threads. In many cases, the questions you have now have already been addressed....

I guess from one new member to another, remember to give the blade the respect and concentration it deserves and you will be fine.

Edit, pinklather and I were posting at the same time. Don't be shy about posting either.
And YouTube is a helpful resource as well.
