    Default G'Day from Melbourne

I've been lurking a while, reading some old threads for advice etc even before I got my first blade.

I registered this morning just to post an answer and I figured I should probably say hi!

I'm brand new to straight razor shaving; having had my first shave at a barbers in about late October/ early November last year is what started my hint-dropping to my wife for birthday/Christmas presents, but I've always been interested.

SRP has certainly saved me from a Silence of the Lambs incident, and I'll be looking to replace a bad pin in the near future. My transition to SR shaving has been relatively pain-free so far, I haven't looked back.

Hopefully that bad pin is not affixed to a good grenade! That might not be the best of combinations. Welcome to the forum mate.
