Thanked: 0Greetings from Tønsberg, Norway
Hi.
A couple of months ago I started shaving with a straight edge.
The reason was that shaving was really boring and I avoided it, making me look like an unshaven husk of a man at times.
I realized I needed to spice thing up a bit; to make shaving a fun and interresting part of my morning ritual.
So I am now brandishing a a well sharpened blade onto my face at regular intervals and things have improved drasticly! Shaving is fun again! I've even bought soaps and after shaves online that are heaps beyond the quality found in local stores.
These days I'm clean shaven, smell good, and I found a great hobby to boot!
Now if only spring would come so I could get my Bonnie back on the road again!
Then I would feel like a complete man!
Sincerely Odne

Welcome to the forum.
There are a bunch of Scandinavians on here and a couple of the more appreciated members are even norwegian.
What razor(s) do you have? pictures are encouraged.

Thanked: 0First I got this unseen razor from Whipped Dog.
Then I broke it and had to find someone to repair it.
(Its supposed to be a razor, not a saw blade.)
Luckily I found this site and the awesome Birnando. I mailed in my knife and in short order I had my knife back good as new.
(Sorry, this pic is crap. My fingermarks are all over the dirty thing. I'll take a better pic later to prove that Birnando really did a great job rescuing it!)
As I was researching honemeisters and razor repair I realized it was foolish to have only one razor! So i bought a new Thiers Issard from Fitjar Såpekokeri. It also got the honing treatment from Birnando.
(Yay, better pic on this! Although slightly out of focus. Macro photography is hard!)
