Thread: hello from fort riley

Hello everyone just started straight razor shaving. Started with a cheep shavett from sally's beauty supply (i know real manly) anyway just picked up two vintage razors today the one that is shave-able is a felt pad razor works straight razor. I am positive it could use a good honing so hopefully i will be able to get one soon. I tell you what trying to learn how to shave with a shavett is rough feels like my face has been attacked by a angry cat lol. Here is a pick of my new toys the one in the middle has a very large crack about a 1/8th of a inch from the point running from the blade edge to almost the spine i think i may cut it and make it a shorty or something custom looking who knows
