Thanked: 0Greetings from Hong Kong
Dear all
greetings from Hong Kong! I am of spanish nationality but happily living now in HK. I started shaving with a razor when I was 21, that is 22 years ago. But then I quitted it for practical reasons, no time to shave in the morning before going to the office, being lazy to get out of bed!
Now I have rescued my razor from the drawer (the one below in the pic), set it back on shape and reinitiated shaving with it. Its now my weekend little vice when my 3 children let me have a bit of time!
Additionally, I just got a second razor, a japanese blade that I used this weekend for the first time. What a joy of shave! I find it easy to use as the length of the blade makes it easy to move it around, and somehow it is easy for me to shave with it only with the omote side on my face, as it is supposed to be done by the more traditional shavers. It only ended when I got a small cut on my upper lip, nothing bad but enough to stop the show and after 2 passes, so I was all set. This little devil does not allow mistakes but gives a very close shave!
Well, i just wanted to say hello to all and join this wonderful community.
all the best

Hi and welcome to SRP! lovely razors! Did you buy the Iwasaki in HK and if so are there any good shops for Japanese razors there?
