Thanked: 0New member from Northern VA
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to say that I've been reading SRP articles/posts for years now, ever since I've been using a straight razor, and I finally realized that I needed to thank all of you for the great site and great info. Without your help I never would have learned how to use - and even more recently - hone and restore my straight razors. Thanks for the help and guidance.

Thanked: 0My current razors
Hi Randy,
Here are a few pics of my current rotation. From top to bottom:
1. A TI I got last year for my birthday. Black plastic scales. It took me a while before I got this one properly honed. Holds an edge for a long time though.
2. A Henry Sears and Son, Queen. Black Bake Lite scales...or at least I think they're Bake Lite. Buffed out some rust and pitting. Very easy to hone; turned out to be an amazing shaver.
3. A West Point Shumate. Clear blue acrylic scales; my favorite looking razor, although I'm selling it on eBay to make room for a few projects I'm working on.
Here are some razors that I'll be working on next. The top razor I'll just buff and polish. The Boker, I'll make some scales for that one; probably some blue G10. The Henckel's, I'm gonna try and keep the scales on that one, although they're in rough shape so I don't know if that'll be possible.
So that's my current collection!Last edited by jaygomez; 03-04-2013 at 04:20 AM. Reason: Rearranging the pics
