    Default New from South America

    Hello there.
I am Brazillian and I have been shaving with a disposable razor (Monsieur Charles type) for a few months. Prior to that I used a half-blade disposable razor witch got me a few good nicks. Now I am fairly experinced and the MC razor is waaay better then the half blade one, I begun to shave against the grain. The finish is marvelous, slick.

My shaving style is simple: after some 5 to 7 days without shaving, after a good warm shower I use a regular shaving cream (Gillete with aloe vera) in a blowl, a sip of water and shake the mix with a regular brush, made out of natural materials, no hog or another furry animal. Then lathe, pro-grain, wash, lathe, against the grain, wash, tight spots, finishing touches, wash and styptic pencil for any nicks and irregular spots. I use a regular post shave lotion from Nivea, keeps my skin matte.

Now I am into the real deal: straight razors. I am looking for a good one, Dovo, Revisor or any good brand.

    That`s about about it!
