Hello
Greetings everybody, I'm Nathan.
I've decided to take on the challenge of learning how to shave with a SR. Last year I took up DE shaving. My hair grows quickly so I'm aiming for a shave so close that I won't have to shave daily. I ordered a Parker SR1 to get started with, after I get used to it and can maintain a straight razor (stropping, honing, etc) I'll probably upgrade to a better razor. I'm pretty eager to learn this skill, I'm not intimidated by it at all (maybe because I haven't had any problems with DE shaving).
Figured I'd introduce myself as this seems like a helpful site for learning SR shaving.

welcome Nathan, this is a very helpful group here in the SRP forums. I highly recommend the wiki here as well as the "stickies" in each forum area. treasure troves of info!

Yes a wealth of information here, I still spend a lot of time reading the archives.
Take your time, read up, but primarily enjoy the ride.
