    Default Another New Shaver

Hi, my name is Gene from central Iowa. I have been thinking about learning to shave with a straight razor since I came back off orders. I am hopeful to find a new skill and art in an activity that I have to perform on a daily basis. I have started to learn and hope to learn more. Thanks everyone.

AShave, you landed well. Its not the only place, but IS the biggest, and most of the bigness is excellent help and good attitudes. The guys here put up w/ my learning - I'm sure you'll find the place and the people an incredible resource.

Take your time, enjoy the learning. Post a bazillion question - its the only way you learn. If I can be of help, feel free to pm me.
