Thread: Between Buffalo and Rochester NY

Hey Guys,
I have been posting here for a little while but I thought it was about time I made the official here I am post.
So here I am! LOL

I am about a month or so into the Straight Razor Club and I LOVE IT!
The joy I get from shaving now is hard to explain to anyone who has not done this!
You all know what I am talking about....

So as most others here, I have RAD and I have gone CRAZY buying all the stuff I need in order to restore old razors.
SWMBO has been pretty good about this as I tend to jump in with both feet when I start something.
I hope this lasts forever....

I bought a NEW Dovo starter Kit that was shave ready and I have amassed a bunch of razors from antique shops and got a couple from e-bay.
Been reading through ALL of the info here about shaving, restoring, honing, stropping, etc...
I have to say this place is AWESOME!
Everyone has been really nice and helpful with any questions I have had.

As the Title of this thread states I live between Buffalo and Rochester, NY so if anyone is near me please let me know!
Would be nice to have someone who I could talk to locally about techniques for honing especially.

Thanks for making me feel welcome and I hope someday I will be able to help someone new coming in also.
