Hello, I am Kyle, and I am from southern Ontario, Canada. I am 23 and have been into more vintage things for quite some time now. M*A*S*H nerd as well. What got me so interested, or obsessed as my girlfriend will tell you, in straight razor shaving was a video on Birchbox men's youtube channel about the four steps to the perfect shave that I came across. Since then, I have researched like a madman and am now eagerly awaiting my blade to come in the mail, which I purchased from the classifieds here on SRP. Thankfully, I found the article about avoiding the "gold dollar" ebay razors and instead have chosen a Jahre Garantie Hyane 3/8 blade. If there is something shorter that I should be calling this, let me know!
As mentioned before, I am keenly interested in anything that my great grandfather may have used and prefer to use products that have been around for a long time. I currently use Proraso shave cream, Proraso pre-shave cream, as well as Cromwell and Cruthers shave oil. I also sport a moustache, hopefully I can find a thread all about moustache wax and what everyone's favourites are! I am currently awaiting my tin of Mr. Natty's Moustache Twizzle Wax.
I've probably rambled on enough!
