    I'll post pics when it comes in, I bought it from SRP member airportcopper, it should be here by the end of the month.
    My logic was that the 3/8 would be a bit easier to maneuver on my face, especially for a beginner. I also read somewhere that it's inadvisable to learn on anything more than a 5\8 blade. I'm a thin person so it makes sense to me...in theory anyway! I'll have to check out some antique shops eventually.

    Keeping a 3/8 flat on a strop or hone takes a bit more attention as does shaving angle. They are more of a trimmer size but see how you go.

    At the very least I'll find out what I don't like. I'm sure I'll enjoy the learning process as well! I'm sure it won't be my last straight either haha I'll see how it goes once I get it! In the mean time I'll continue to learn as much as I can!
