Thanked: 0Hello from New York
Hi All,
My name is Nathan, I'm currently a student in NYC, which also happens to be home sweet home. I've been shaving with a shavette for a bit now, and am ready to upgrade (leaning towards a Thiers-Issard 6/8"). Still tricky navigating that chin, though... Anyways, I'm looking forward to learning from and with you guys--this seems like a great community!
Best,

Thiers Issard is a winner. Great steel, and it will hold an edge a long time. Depending on where you buy it, it probably will not be shave ready. Actually they come with a factory edge but thats not gonna cut it. I used a shavette for 6 years, now Im all in on straights. IMO you cannot get a better more comfortable shave. Good Luck
