    Welcome Chris,

There has never been a group gathering in Florida that I know of. It would be nice, but so far nobody has put anything together. Everyone is probably too busy or doesn't have the facilities for a meet up.

    Regards - Walt

Aloha Captain and welcome to SRP. My father is a Barber my grandfather was a Barber and my brother is in Barber school not. Have you had any luck finding straights in places that you have ported?

    Default yes i have

ive got a razor, that came from crystobal, panama, one is a wostenholm spanish tip ,with 5/8 hollow grind, and engraved blade its 1 of my better shavers, but i need to have it rescaled.it has the yellow scales with hollow ground on stamped on 1 side of scales, and had a lead spacer,so with that said the origanal scales will no doubt b hard to find.i wouldnt choose to replace them without having originals ,as it will no doubt decrease the razors valuei also have a union cutlery i found in belieze were i have 2 acres and a fishing camp in stann creek district, thats my everyday shaver,it was made in atlanta, and was nos when i found it at a barbers shop there in placencia.so its like brand new,and it sings like a bird.no doubt very good american steel.these are the only 2 ive found on my endevors.
thank you for the welcome, and thanks to my beautiful mother for teaching me the beautiful art of the straight shave.its no doubt an art.
