Hi ya'll. I bought this kit Full Straight Razor Shaving Set For Under $50 Dollars - StraightRazors.com. Ya, not the best by far, but good enough to figure out if I wanted to pursue this art. After a few shaves with a few nicks, the cheap razor started tugging bad, but now I got a cool cut across my throat that is healing. I started to get some stones to hone it (goofed and bought an 800 instead of 8000;amazon and 12 pack not a good combo). About that time I was thinking "I should jest by a Dovo instead of these stones and get them later". Then I nicked my strop pretty bad (got side tracked by my kid). So, I searched for a inexpensive replacement since I am on a budget. This site popped up with the Filly being rather highly recommended.

So, I got it. Brought my razor right back to hair drop sharp. Still going to buy a Dovo when I got the cash to spend, but I am so glad I found this site with that recommendation. I would still recommend that kit for someone to try out straight shaving, but buy the Filly too.
