Thanked: 0Hello!
Hi guys, just a newbie here, checking in. I recently got into straight razor shaving by purchasing a Parker with disposable blades, about a month ago. After a few uncomfortable shaves, I bought a Koch & Shaffer Kama blade on ebay, and got it honed by professional here in Vegas (Max). Shaves are good now, but could be better. So here I am, looking to learn from you nice folks!

Welcome to the forum. We will help in any way we can.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Welcome to the most friendly, helpful and informative site on the web!!!!
As my good friend pinklather said, having a pro honed razor is the way to go when you are first starting out!!! It takes so many variables out of the equation!!!
Are you in Las Vegas or close by? Just wondering!!
Again Welcome!!
