Thread: Hello from Southeast Kansas

I just made my SRP account and this is my first post. I'm the kind of guy that loves working with his hands, I prefer pump shotguns opposed to semi-automatic, and I like doing things the right way rather than the fast way. I'm fed up with the uncomfortable, sub par shave of disposable razors. I've never shaved with a straight razor but from what I've read, there's nothing like it. Right now I dread shaving because of the pain caused by the disposable razors ripping and pulling. I've decided not to shave with a disposable razor again. I became a member here to acuire a good, professionally honed, straight razor and a good understanding of the basics of shaving then eventually honing and stroping. This forum is highly recommended and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Pleasure to have you and welcome! Straight razor shaving is amazing I've only been at it for say 4-5 months and it is a real pleasure to just do it every day. You'll get in a rhythm and you'll never want to leave it. You definitely picked the right forum too the folks here are great, remember ask questions! Peace.
