Thread: Hi from London

Hi guys,

Just bought myself a vintage Lund razor to have a go at straight razor shaving. Going to be looking around this forum for some tips and asking help I'm sure!
First I need to find someone in the UK who can hone my razor for me. Anyone know a place in UK or a forum member here who I can pay to have it done? One day I will learn to do it myself but as it's my first go I thought I should give myself the best chance of having a good shave..

I could but I don't know that I'd be confident enough to hone someone else's razor in case it's not good enough!

For pro honers. I think you can either try Niell Miller at strop-shop.co.uk or Steve at theinvisibleedge.co.uk.

I'm not sure if Tony at Taylors1000 has a honing service or not. I don't think he does.

+1, Neil of strop-shop or Steve of invisibleedge both hone professionally and have good reputations.
