Thread: Lady in distress

My boyfriend will be halfway through to becoming a doctor in June, and I would like to give him the gift of a good shave. He is also becoming a bit of moustache connoisseur, preferring the handlebar. As much as I love it, I think he would look better with a gentleman's shave to really give the moustache the attention it deserves. I have no idea how to go about the art of straight razors. I have learned that it is better to by an older, used, good condition blade. Could anyone give me some pointers on where to purchase and what to purchase? Thanks to all and I appreciate your time.
