    Just wanted to say hi from southern California and I'm sure I'll be around often to ask questions, and hope to even be helpful someday! Just got a Ralf Aust from SRD and into it a few shaves. I should have come here first to find out to take it easy to start. I've been going at it full with a little frustration in the neck area, but I'll try to back off and start slow again. But wow what a great experience anyway.
    I haven't seen too many with this razor so I'll try to keep up on how it's doing. Although I have no other frame of reference...
    I can seen this being an addiction...I don't know how I've been missing out on this so long!

    Welcome! I got a Ralf Aust form SRD as well and love it. It's definitely another addiction for me that'll stay for life I'm sure.

    Well That's one razor I don't have......Welcome to SRP neighbor :<0) Maybe we will bump into each other someday. Hopefully not on the freeway.

    Hello, I'm also new here. Decided is post in here as I to got a Ralph Aust add my first "real" straight. I say real because I had been using the ones with the disposable blades for about a year with canned Gillette shaving cream and little knowledge compared to what I have learned Since joining and reading the forums here at Srp. All I can say is wow what a difference in shave quality and no irritation after! Thanks guys
