Howdie!
Hea everyone!
I just received my first "real" straight razor after shaving with a shavette for a couple of months. It is a Mühle round tip 5/8 blade.
I just did my first shave and experienced some problems with it. I will be posting my thread in the main beginnerssection to see
what the problem was. It is a pleasure to learn from the community and hopefully in the long run I can get my chance to contribute!

Welcome. Now I have to google 'Mühle straight.' My r89 DE has really treated me well so I'm excited to check this out.
edit: Hmm, from a quick search it looks like a rebranded Dovo. That's disappointing to me only because I was hoping for an original razor. I did have a Dovo Best Quality - they are very nice. Their R89 uses the same head as the Edwin Jagger also, but the handle is different. In any case, I really love that DE.Last edited by RADisorder; 05-16-2013 at 03:49 AM.
