Default I have lurked long enough...

Been lurking on the forum for a few weeks. It has been a great place to get information and guidance.

I have been shaving with a DE for several months, and decided to try a shavette about a month ago. Finally, last week, I bought my first real straight razor from SRD. Wow! What fast shipping! My first shave was Saturday, and took it for its second spin this afternoon.

Looking forward to all the great interaction and education.

    MB64,

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the straight razor, SRD is first class, service and products!! Hope you got a strop also! As you've discovered SRP is loaded with great info and members willing to help. Below are links to the wiki and also "Beginner's Tips" a group of articles by Glen (gssixgun).... great stuff.

Former Paratrooper? Marine here, and it's always said once a Marine, Always a Marine!! Just don't get paid those big dollars anymore.

Assuming its the same for Paratroopers too?

Great to have you on the forum, enjoy and when you have questions, ask away!

    Best Regards,

    Howard !

Thanks Gents for the warm welcome.

@Howard -- oh yeah, the paratrooper pay was great. Back when I was in ('87-'91), we got an extra $110 per month to jump out of planes. They called it Hazardous Duty Pay. Also got to enjoy Sapper school and Ranger School. I was tougher back then.

Thanks for the links. Also, I did get the three inch strop.

Welcome to the forum. Nice, a star and a wreath on your parachute badge is quite an accomplishment. Airborne!!
