Thread: Hi there!

Hello all. My name's Brian and I'm a shaving addict. I started with a DE about 6 months ago and really enjoy the shaves compared to the cartridges I used for many years.

When I first started researching new (old) ways of getting more comfortable shaves, I initially found that straights could be a good option and I did quite a bit of reading here at SRP. However, after more research, it seemed DE's might be more practical for me and they have been great. I still find myself wanting to try straight razors though. So, after reading here about what to look for in a vintage straight, I finally found a couple very reasonably priced ones in decent condition on ebay. They just arrived today so I'm excited. I'm going to send them off to gssixgun for their first honing and can't wait until they get back.
