In the mean time, like Cangooner said, there's Vasco downtown, but I find their selection to be limited compared to online shops. There's also a Japanese knife shop, L'Émouleur, in the Mile-End on Laurier, I think they sell kamisori razors and offer a straight razor sharpening service (I can't really comment further, I never tried them).

Your king cutter looks pretty clean. I would just reset the bevel and hone it, gently polish a few rusty spots et c'est tout.
I could do it if you like.

If you think it can be done without damage de gold inscription on the blade i would like to make business with you.

Hey guys I know this is of topic but I'm going to be in Montreal this week and was hoping to find a store to check out. Do you have any pointer?

The only shop in montreal that i actually know is Vasco Cigars on sainte-catherine, but i have no clue if it worth the visit.

Montreal is growing in straight shavers and that's great!

Boker are among my favorites. This one is definitively a keeper by all means!
