Thread: Hello from England

I've been lurking here for a while but thought that I ought to introduce myself. I am a re-born wet shaver who progressed from cartridges to DE and then to SE. I have been happily using a Feather Artist Club SS for a while but have just acquired a lovely Ern 5/8 Crown and Sword straight.

I look forward to many happy hours here and to learning about my new razor, how to care for it and most importantly, how to use it!

Ern is a great make, so if you get that properly honed you're off to a flying start. Have you looked at the Library yet? (Link at top of page). There's a bunch of information there, including some articles specifically for beginners. Many questions have been asked in the forum threads, too, so they're worth searching. And if you have a question you can't find the answer to, there are lots of helpful and knowledgable people here to ask.
