thank you for the warm welcomes! I studied at cosmo school but decided to go to barber school in Chicago, and found that in the city they are not so welcoming to female barbers at some places, or others didn't want a newbie, etc....want to know and learn more about the 'old ways' as I feel they are too important to let fade away. Also, when you can educate the public, they are more than happy to listen, learn, and explore. I am only a year out of school so I look forward to what I find here, I am already blurry eyed, strained backed, and blissfully tired, as I have been on and off reading the forums all day. Again thank you for the warm welcomes....

Not that far...I do have my instructor's father, Broadway Jim that I will be visiting soon, He's in Brookfield...thanks again, looking up Banana Joe's now....thanks!!!

Keep your eye on the meetup section of the forum, I feel like the Chicago area is due for another one fairly soon. You'll get to meet a lot of knowledgeable people, both enthusiasts and professionals alike.
