Thanked: 1Time to introduce myself :)
Hello
Figured it was time to indroduce myself, been here on and off since I discovered the wounderful world of Straight Razors in 2009.
I live in Sweden, more precise in a little town called Piteå.
My grandfather was a barber and I have a few razors from him, well those that my parents did not throw away or give away before I realized we had some razors left... I have cursed them a few times...
RAD has kicked in again and I'm on the hunt for,, ehhr, well whater comes in my way
regards
/Andreas

Hello Andreas. Welcome to SRP. It's great to have you here.
Check out the SRP Library/Wiki. It has lots of useful information about straight razors and straight razor shaving. You are also welcome to post questions in the appropriate forums if you run into any obstacles in your quest to achieve a better straight razor shave. The members are always helpful.
Take care--and smooth shaving.

Thanked: 1Thanks guys
Some pics of the few that I managed lay my hands on before everything was gone.
What I still can't believe is that they gave away a 7'day set with a display case and everything to a local hairdresser in the village that they live.
We have a C.W Dahlgren, Fermarud
This one is in need of new scales, they look kind of sad I think.

Not much to say, it works but not a favorite due to the size.

Thanked: 1Now those guys just lay there in wait of better days or new beards.
I found me a Böker Edelweiss a few years back and it shaves like a dream, so it is either that one or my Wacker that gets the job done these days
I did manage to get my hands on another Edelweiss a few weeks ago but that one broke a part of the tip when I messed up and somehow dropped it and in the process of trying to catch it ended up with a nice cut.

man you just broke my heart with the 7 day set story
i think you should still keep the original scales of the C.W Dahlgren razor though.Net.Wt.7oz
