Default Turn up container for shave sticks

Another idea for getting a turn up container for your shave sticks that come without one. Bought an Elmers glue stick at the dollar store that cost $2.00, go figure. Removed the glue stick, rolled the Arko stick out like you do dough to roughly the diameter to fit the container and attached the end cap from the glue stick to it. Inserted the end cap end of the Arko stick pressing down gently while turning the bottom piece of the container to wind the Arko into the container. The hardest part was to scrape the original label off the container which would have been easier if the label was shrink wrapped on. Makes a serviceable container. I think it would work for those shave sticks that are mailable enough to rolled out.

    Nice job, Bob.
I seem to remember another thread that referenced a supplier that sold empty twist up tubes. I know johnywimm was involved in it somewhere. Will try and find it. May have been mama bears.
What have you done with the glue, I bet it would fit nicely into the soap wrapper.

Yea, there are a few threads on here about re-purposing twist up containers to house shave sticks. I have used deoderant containers after seeing Jimmy's thread I think it was. Yea there are suppliers out the on the net but by the time you buy the tubes and pay the shipping it is much cheaper and easier to find something local that can be re-purposed. Thought of wrapping the glue stick in wax paper but thought it would be a PITA to use so just pitched it.
