Thanked: 15Home-made Razor Socks
So I've done some looking at these little Razor Sock things... and though I realize that razors can be looked at as an investment (lord knows I've spent enough on them that I should), How well do you guys think that one of these would work? It's a gun sock, much like the silicone impregnated socks, but this I'm thinking I can run a couple of seams all the way up the length of it, a cross seam about every 7" and nip a hole in each at the top to just drop the rasors in... Do you think that would work out pretty well? Not sure what to do after that point... depending on how wide it is, I may just run horizontal seams every inch or so...that way I can roll it all up. Thoughts or experience with this?

No experience with turning gun socks into razor socks. But I do have experience with gun socks and have purchased ready-made razor socks from a few different sources. The razor socks are basically the same material as the gun sock.
When I purchase them for the razors, I do so knowing full well that I am paying only for my complete inability to stitch.
Buy a few socks and experiment - perhaps you will be selling your new creation through the Vendor's subforum before you know it.
