    Default Loupe/microscioe suggestion

Looking for suggestion on loupe/microscope suggestions. Not looking to spend a lot of money, but looking to learn by viewing edges to see what is going on with them. Thank you in advance for suggestions.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

I found that same one on Amazon recently Howard,,,, for less

Amazon.com: 40 X 25mm Glass Lens Jeweler Loupe Magnifier With LED: Office Products

To the OP if you order I would recommend ordering at least 3 at one time, these actually cost less to buy new here, then to replace the batteries...

I went to eBay and bought a loupe that has both 30x and 60x both illuminated I think it was $10-15. It seems good enough to me, however I have never owned a different one.

Jewellers Lens Glass Loupe 30X & 60X Magnifier 2x LEDs Lights £8.50 sterling

This is the one I bought I am very pleased with it, I find myself using the 60x function a bit more than the 30x

A USB microscope is fun and then you can post pictures of what you see!

Mini 60x Jewelers Loupe Magnifier with LED Fluorescence Lights | eBay

I have one just like this. It is useful. I am thinking about a USB microscope. I have used the jeweler loupes as posted here and those are a little easier to see through, with a larger lens.

    I am outdated I guess....
I used to use a 30x china thing but I have found the 10x Bausch & Lomb that I had been using for electronics to be better for me.
A good light source and that loupe and I can see the teeth on a 5k edge.
I have toyed with getting a USB microscope to play with just have not done so.

Yes ....I'm not an expert on these gizmos, but this would allow you to check pits, honing results, stropping etc and post the pics !!
