Thread: Hone, Kamisori and Western Case

Not sure if this is the right forum location but...

Just thought I'd share a project I just wrapped up this weekend for a fellow member overseas.
It was fun to incorporate the three items he wanted placed in there and am hopeful everything fits just so. I tried to size the Kamisori space such that the tolerance around the handle will prevent any edge contact if it shifts around.

I used a nice piece if wenge which looks beautiful but was harder to work with than the limited amount of other hardwoods I've used. Nice in the end though. Finished in beeswax/orange oil.

Oh and I also realized I probably should of used a mask more often.
