It is a tight fit, but again I have been reading complains about heat loss, do I made the walls tight.

I like the one with the spout 90 degrees from the handle. I guess that would actually make them left or right handed though. I am holding out for a Raku finish!
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

No raku because: raku pieces are porus, and fragile.

@ twisted oak a wider shallower bowl will somewhat negate the heat retention feature.

The sizing I was describing was for the lathering portion of the "inner" bowl only. To make for better heat retention but keep the outer diameter of the water reservoir portion of the bowl, you could make the entire piece taller. This might also help for heat retention as there is less surface area within the water reservoir to soak heat (since you wouldn't have to warm the space between the side walls).

I like this idea of a brush scuttle! Maybe you could make a behemoth brush+lather scuttle with the two separate reservoirs, just smash the outer walls of each piece together (and remove the handles)!

They all look great. Sorry it's not much help but they do.

Really like the brush in the first picture and the second scuttle.

Skills on toast bonny lad! Very nice.

I like the third one from the bottom. The base looks handy in the event it was used to hold a glycerin puck.
