Georgetown makes a very fine product be it the g12 or the g20. Anyone will be very happy with their performance. You can place it on a mantle and people will think its a Wedgewood. But, it's mass produced. It not made by an artisan sitting at a spinning wheel clutching the clay with their hands and forming it into a useful object for our pleasure and enjoyment. That's the point it is perfect. Too perfect for me. I like the hand touched irregularity of a hand made product. Again, this is MY opinion.

Face....no bowl, no scuttle (except rarely), usually with cold or cool water.

My wife got me this from a potter on etsy.com. Before this I used a big latte mug/soup bowl that we just had around the house. I like the lather staying warm with the scuttle.
I travel regularly for work and when I get to my hotels I look for anything I can use in the room. I have used coffee mugs, soap dishes if they are deep enough and a few times just cupped my hand and made lather in my hand. Some hotels are more equipped than others and you have to look around and get creative.

I have been using this cup warmer for at least 5 years now and still works great. You can use any bowl or cup you have. It has a switch that you just turn on before you start your shower and your brush and lather is waiting for you when you get out. Less than $20 on Amazon.

I use a cheap red "salsa" bowl when I travel as it's virtually unbreakable.
At home I use a Dirty Bird scuttle (large one) my wife bought me for my birthday a few year ago. Love that thing.
