Thread: What Can You Tell Me About This Chair

I inherited this Koken Barbers Chair from my grandparents. The enamel is is pretty good shape except for the one spot by the foot rest. Can anyone tell me anything more about this chair?

I can tell you it is one sweet looking chair! Koken was one of "the" brands of barber chairs back in the day, and from the looks of it this one is in pretty good shape. Especially since you have what looks to be the original head rest. When they are missing, can be hard to find without paying a hefty premium. The hydraulics are the one other thing that can be costly to repair but assuming their good you, your golden. I can only dream of having a chair passed down from my grandparents.
