All my shaving stuff's in the spare bedroom...wife will only let me keep the basics out, lol.

One brush, one scuttle, one aftershave, one soap (MdC) and a few glass bottles of distilled water.

Martin de Candre, they had a limited run with different lids a few years back (sea shell, stag, chicken and a few others) Not sure if they're still available...

There us a thread called "show us your shave den" or something similar, that's got a lot of pics of shave dens in it.

Try using a tiny pinch of citric acid in your shaving water instead of using distilled water. It has the effect of softening hard water. You could use a small container for the amount of citric acid you'd use. Your wife would also be really happy with the extra space gained!

I keep all I need in a little basket that stays on my desk in my room. I never leave it in the bathroom. To keep my razors away from unwanted moister. When I feel like using a different razor I get one from my cigar box I keep my razors in. The basket is like 2 dollars. lol.
