Building a House, Ideas for Bathroom for Straight Razor Friendly

My apologies if this isn't the right forum, but I am about to begin the process of building my own house and I was just curious if anyone had any ideas/suggestions on what you would like in a bathroom to make it more straight razor friendly?

I'm thinking along the lines of custom built place for stropping or a built in to hold razors or whatever. Just looking for any and all suggestions.

Large Double sink....that way you can have your area...she can have her's...word of advice, make it with a large sink, and a small sink. Same with shelving and Medicine cabinet. Give her the large one of both and let her have a little space on yours and save yourself her slowly taking over your area. She still will but it might buy you enough time to enjoy your area for a while. If you don't have a girlfriend, wife...do it anyways just in case!

I think that a hidden slim drawer under the countertop, full width, would be great. No handles, and recessed an inch or so back from the edge of the countertop, with a small grove under so you can easily grab and pull the drawer out. Only an inch or so high, so you can have your razors lined up inside. Id have it so the razors were towards the back of the drawer, with a couple of eyelets bolted inside at the front where you can attach strops. That way, you simply open the drawer, select your razor, and fold a strop out and over the side of the drawer, then return it once done. I wouldt have a handle on it so guests dont see it and dont play with your razors or try stropping them. Realistically, guests inspect your medicine cabinet etc, so if there was a drawer they could find containing razors, it's only a matter of time until someone has a play with your razors.

I would like an air line in the Den of Shaving.

It could be used to blow dry both straight and DE razors and other bath items.

I was going to do this in our new house but the compressor and the Den are on opposite corners and the ceiling is already finished. Obviously, I have to build a Shave Den in my shop. Yeah, that's the ticket to happiness.

On that note, good ventillation. Moisture will destroy shaving equipment.

Move out of the humidity!

Ideally, design a bathroom with separate vanity areas, Hers and yours. Gives you elbow room, your own mirror and the geographic distance helps keep each of your clutters in your own space.

An airtight door on a built-in storage cabinet complete with several racked, inverted bottles with touch-me dispensers (like liquor bar servers) for various types of aftershaves; witness the end of unscrewing/rescrewing/dropping bottle caps in the morning.

I'm not married nor is there a girlfriend currently in my life, but I'm pretty convinced I'm going with double sinks regardless. I really like AndrewJM idea about the hidden drawer. That maybe something to incorporate.
