    Default Toothpaste Travel Cases

I've bought a couple of nice razors -- H. Boker and George Butler -- off ebay recently and both came in toothbrush travel cases. Seems like a good idea for a cheap and easy razor case. And I suppose this has already been discussed here on SRP. So forgive me if I am being redundant.

You mean those plastic toothBRUSH travel cases? That is a good idea. Never thought of that.

My bad. That is what I mean, plastic toothbrush holders. Some may work better than others I'm sure but it was nice of the sellers to include them with the blades. Too bad I cannot edit the headline.

I always send razors in these. You can get good ones at the dollar store. I think the last time I sold some razors I got a three pack with toothbrushes at the dollar store. Toothbrush where flimsy but the cases worked well. The target ones work well also they are about a buck a piece.

Here are pics of the ones that were sent to me with razors. One came with a little bubble wrap stuffed into it to keep the blade from moving around a lot. I think these would be a good idea just keeping them in my drawer. I'll probably use my label maker so I can identify which is which.

I wouldn't store them with the bubble wrap, because it will inhibit the air flow, cotton balls in the ends will allow airflow & prevent them from bouncing around inside,,,,also you can get cheap pantyhose for a $1.00 a pair,,cut the toe out,,,fill with some rice,,tie the cut,,,stuff in the holder & it will allow airflow & fight moisture. You can make 10 or more moisture packets out of a set of pantyhose.

Yeah, I did remove the bubble wrap. But you have a really good idea, Hirlau.

I used a similar holder for travel, the only issue i had was that they can come apart, if they are in a wash bag its ok, as they cant seperate far enough for the razor to fall out, but to be safe i taped the join, and i also picked up some of the little silca gel sachets that you get with shoes and popped them in either end.
