    Default Shaving towels

Not wanting to accidentally cut one of the good bathroom towels wiping the razor, I looked around for something dedicated.
I found "bar towels" at a restaurant supply store.
They are cheap at less than $10/dozen.
The ones I picked up are microfiber 16" x 16". Very soft and a handy size that doesn't get in the way cluttering the counter.
These were $8/dozen. At that price there is no need to be concerned with cuts, or have to make heroic efforts getting blood stains out. Once tattered, they can serve in the work shop.
    Check it out.

Cost in the U.K sell 12 white hand towels for about £8, I am sure Costco in the U.S would do the same they are perfect for shaving.

I got these which were $18 per dozen, and it's a good thing I did, since I nick one every so often while wiping or drying a razor. i use them to hold hot water on my face, then fold up and use in place of a sponge to wipe the razor on between passes. http://www.amazon.com/Stripe-Herring...shaving+towels

Once I commenced to daily straight razoring I suddenly couldn't live without lint free plain white cotton towels. I found half a dozen at a local fru-fru bathroom store; went back a week later and got a dozen more. Weird. I really like a fresh towel to pat my face dry after each shave. Fresh towel to face drying; once-used face towel to the hand towel hook; once-used hand towel to the laundry heap; laundry heap to wash and dry; wash and dry heap folded and back to the towel rack. It's a vicious circle.

I got a bunch of el-cheapo white cotton wash clothes for face and razor-wiping.
