OK the oil I'm using now is the oil you get from SRP called straight razor oil. Don't know what type of oil. Anyhow, this oil tends to bead up on the metal I'm looking for an oil that coats my blade and stays coated. My thoughts are if the oil is beading up and leaving some parts of the blade with no oil how can it be protecting it?

Does anyone have an oil which coats and does not bead that they would recommend?
