Thanks - may take you up on the offer!

The seller states that they ship here...like I said, sounds to good to be true...I'll wait and see what happens on Monday.

Sheesh, you'd think they'd make a wooden tool chest in Canada...the 8 drawer Gerstner machinist chest's I found here are upwards of $1,000....plus shipping, and every other place seems to feel that we don't have any wood here in Canada....or we don't make stuff out of it...LOL...thanks guitsik, I appreciate the offer!

Not a problem Phrank, it would be my pleasure if I could help you out. That barren desert country you live in makes it hard for wood workers to make a living

Really - the huge tree in my backyard that got blown down during the ice storm last winter could've made about 500 of the darn things....and enough left over wood to build a cabin or two....yes, the frozen wasteland that is Canada:

Watch out - free trade doesn't apply if it's not US made. You might end up getting slapped with duties, customs brokerage fees, and GST to boot. Although I hope not - for your wallet's sake

Generally, anything under $200.00 is duty free...in the case of this smokin' Windsor Designs (US Made) 8 drawer wooden machinist chest, which I can't wait to get my hands on, it was approx $125.00 shipping included, so am not worried, and even if for some reason they try to charge me, won't be much...just looks perfect to store the razors and some other shaving stuff.

The 16 fountain pen display case and the big wooden box just aren't cutting it anymore...been bugging me for awhile....so this chest is perfect.

There is quite a difference in quality levels from the top $ chests to the lower end. I have seen some high $ chests that were heirloom quality. I did buy a cheap one, made from less than #1 grade wood and the typical quality you see in off shore manufactured goods. It works well for storing and organizing razors. It is kind of like the difference in buying Ikea cardboard furniture and handmade hardwood. You have to pick for the application at hand.

Using the chest is a very good option. Have to look for one!
