When the customer said he wanted a close shave and the barber said "yes sir, close around the shoulders" he really meant it.

Thanked: 3795I know he was sentenced to the maximum but 10 years does not seem to be enough for attempted murder. The sentence should be the same whether one fails or succeeds in the attempt.
Then again Phyllis Nelson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa only served three years for successfully killing her ex-husband and a drunk college kid named Curtis Fry beat a 75 year old man to death in Iowa City and served less than 5 years.
Our legal system is severely busted.

What creeps me about the details is the attacker sounds like he was making a first effort in a serial-type career. From planning (getting the place empty), working up his nerve ("I could cut your throat"), to a clumsy first try (two slashes yet neither fatal). Gives me the wiggins!
Keep your pivot dry!
