Default Roll Up Dopp Kit from Frost River Trading Co.

Gentlemen, I want to share my early impressions of the shave kit I purchased this summer. It was made in Duluth, Minnesota by a company that specializes in canvas canoe packs. The Roll Up Dopp Kit is made of 10.10 oz. waxed cotton canvas with nylon mesh pockets, nylon zippers, and brass D-rings. There are two zippered pockets and one pleated, snap-close pocket. The kit hangs on a towel rod or door hook while being used. unrolled dimensions are 23"L x 10"W.

Any chance of posting a link to see what all they have and prices?

I really like the ability to hang my gear in the restroom while traveling. It helps keep my shave gear organized and dry. I am able to pack most of my toiletries in the roll up for short trips.
My impression is that this will be a long-lasting piece of gear. It looks like the materials and construction techniques are borrowed from their canoe packs like canvas, heavy duty zippers, and reinforced stitching at stress points.

Had mine shipped to the border and drove down to pick it up today. Thanks for posting it. Never liked the nylon ones I have seen and too cheap to pop the $300 for a leather so this fits my needs nicely that way. I have a canvas Domke camera bag that has been there and back with me and really appreciate a good serviceable canvas bag. Loaded my travel gear in the roll up dopp bag and am ready for the road.

Probably. I pack it I a mesh pocket in my suitcase or in my Sealine dry bag when camping.

I will be awhile to see how it works out as no road trips planned for a few months yet. Didn't include any pics as it looks the same as the ones you posted.
