I think I may need to expand .....
I already have a HF wooden tool chest with my razors, hones and other misc. gear , and now my medicine cabinet is about full up. Still some space, but not much after the Christmas/Birthday shave stuff.
So I drive a station wagon , what of it ? ( www.lxforums.com )

Thanked: 23I've had the thought of needing to expand also. Problem is I don't have any room in the bathroom. I already have 3 soaps, 2-3 pre-shaves, 2-3 post-shaves plus the stand for razors, brush, etc. Here's a picture of my shave den (box). I also have a box of stuff I have not liked as much under the sink.
I may give some serious thought on expanding somehow. It won't be possible without rearranging 2 or 3 other things in the bathroom. Maybe a new cabinet to replace the one over the toilet. Problem is that cabinet is also full of stuff. The inventory of shaving supplies is nothing like before. Until the past year all I had was one half-way decent safety razor or a bag of disposables and a can of the cheapest shaving cream on the shelf. Shaving was a necessary evil while now it's an enjoyable hobby and I'm almost making plans to do a bathroom overhaul because of SHAVING!??? Go figure.

PS
I also bought a plastic container and cut the side out of it as a quick make-shift shelf. The scuttle and MWF soap container can now sit on it.Last edited by Jack0458; 01-02-2015 at 04:00 PM.

I was in the same predicament until I saw a post about a Gerstner(sp?) Machinist Tool Box re-purposed to store razors, beautiful piece of craftmanship, and very expensive as well.
Then Ultrasoundguy posted an alternative, looked the basically the same as the Machinist tool box, only $75.00 from Windsor Designs...got mine awhile ago and it is simply a great option to store your razors safely along with some other stuff.
Here's mine:

I've needed to expand the storage area for my shaving supplies in my bathroom for a while now. What I'd like to get is a wall mounted cabinet with glass doors. If anyone has any ideas on this I'd like to hear them.
