Thanked: 17Potential Straight Travel Case
Been looking for a good way to carry a couple of straights with me when I travel. I may have finally stumbled across a good and inexpensive way. Was at Woodcraft picking up a Norton 1K along with a carving knife and saw some pen cases for the fancy turned pens. Went back again today and found 2 options that will both hold 2 razors.
The first is a plastic 2 pen case that cost a whopping $1.99
I took out the bottom pad and put in a divider (will have to get a pic later) and it will hold 2 razors quite nicely including my large 6/8 Henckels Barber Notch.
The second is a bit nicer case with a faux leather outside. It cost a whopping $4.99
It's just a bit shorter inside so my longest razor barely fits.
Anyway, just wanted to share what I found.
Thanks,

if the dividers went in diagonally but slightly off centre the razors might fit in better but it is otherwise a nice elegant solution for very little money.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 17I'll get some photos up tonight but I took out the bottom insert from the plastic case and made a fabric covered divider to go in it and it's working good. The only draw back is I don't fully trust it staying closed so I'm using a bit of a rubber band around it.

Thanked: 12That looks pretty good. For now, mine get carried in a tooth brush case. Not near as pretty, but works for the time being.
