Thanked: 13I have a new hobby. I use cream rather than soap, and prefer a broad, shallow bowl. I spend a lot of time in hotels, and I'm finding some really promising lathering dishes in the hotel bathrooms, for soap. Ridges on the bottom seem to really help drive a fast buildup. Just scored one at a Holiday Inn Express, works really well! Considering the poor maids are vastly immigrant workers being paid minimum wage, I'm happy to drop a $10 bill on the bathroom counter to keep the noise down. Sure it's conversion, but it's GOOD conversion, imho. This looks a lot like Friday nights score..

Thanked: 98Since I'm a Steel guy, Stainless desert dish from restaurant with a small pitcher/tea pot from same make up my scuttle, were free from the management as they were dented/old and not used any more. The desert dish I will silver solder in some gold filled wire in the creases and that should make the soap holder gush out lather and at the same time it gets a finger hook for a handle, will take some pics to put up here.
